Seneler çok çabuk geçiyor, Philadelphia'da 44 senelik arkadaşım Serap'tayım...

Verandasında bizi karşılarken; Daha dün, okul sıramızda coğrafya dersinde, atlasımızı paylaşırken ki gibiyiz...

Çok güzel bir hafta sonu geçirdik. Bob, Melisa, Sarp ve Ben.

Altı saatlik yola değdi. Her dakika keyifle geçti. Okul sıralarında ki hayallerimizi ne kadar gerçekleştirebildik bilmiyorum? Ama onlar, yeşil pancurlu güzel evlerinde, tabiatın içinde, çok güzel bir hayat kurmuşlar.

WE ARE IN PHILADELPHIA – July 2005

Time passes so quickly. We are in Philadelphia now visiting Serap, a friend of mine for 44 years.

When she was meeting us at the veranda of her house, it was as though we lived the old school days, sharing our atlases during geography lesson...

We spent a very pleasant week all together. Bob, Melisa, Sarp and myself.

The visit was worth for six hours’ drive as we enjoyed every minute of our stay with them. I am not sure how much of our dreams have come true but Serap and her family had created a beautiful life in their green-shuttered house in nature there.
